ALBUM ART: The Anchoress
Catherine Anne Davies asked me to design her second album ‘The Art of Losing’ after we had worked so well on her first, ‘Confessions of a Romance Novelist’. Catherine is great to work with as she has her own visions, but allows me to add to it, so these designs really feel like a collaboration. I enjoy being told to go off and create messy spreads like I did in art college, even if this time I did cheat and do it all in the Mac!
I enjoy doing these stop-frame animations, showing off the results of our work and giving the fans something to get excited about before the release date comes around.
