Gazpacho

The band asked me to create the video for The Wizard of Altai Mountains without even knowing about my love of 8mm film and the fact that I had boxes of reels just waiting for the right job. The band had a tone they wanted to put forward, and the freeze frames helped communicate that.

Exit Suite came about from an annual collaboration project I have been working on with the University of South Wales. Second year student Dewi Morris created this project solo, filming the footage in the freezing misty hills of a Welsh winter and edited to the track with perfect synergy.

James Jones Morris was someone I found through Radar Music Videos, his style had exactly the feel I wanted for this slightly bleak video, which told the story of an English P.O.W. who found out he’d been inadvertently helping the Nazi cause.
