ALBUM ART: Daniel Cavanagh
It just so happens my girlfriend (Danny Branscombe) is a super talented illustrator, and the Daniel Cavanagh solo album was the perfect project to get her involved on an album design in one of her trademark monochrome style, in this case to draw Daniel’s portrait as if it were a constellation of stars.
I then collaborated with Stephan Dreadford to animate two of the illustrations into artwork videos to promote the album.
It was not possible at the time to commission any new promo photos of Daniel for the album campaign, so I asked Danny to reinterpret some live photos we had in the archive so we could use those for press purposes
